Mindset Design

Mindset design is the most important personal improvement you can strive for. And it should follow the same rules any other kind of design does.

People constantly say that they “don’t know what they want.” When it comes to work, relationships, even hobbies, people parade their inability to choose as a positive quality. Or at least, they minimize its effects.

Simplicity, clarity, brevity and the ability to be direct with others and with yourself are some of the most underrated and rare attributes a human mind can have.

A complicated mind is different from a complex mind. The first one means clutter. The second one means decisiveness.

Every blogger I admire has decisive qualities. Every other piece of art or creation through any other medium I love has that same quality.

I find myself being torn between many ideas and purposes with all I take into my mind. I take it personally because all this personally affects me. And mostly when I’m not overcrowding with conflicting ideas I’m enjoying things much more.

Thank you for your cutting words.

Overflowing with ideas is not a bad thing. It’s the selection process what needs to be refined. Keep imagining, and work on your discrimination.
