Keeping real as always Carlos. Short, sweet, simple and relevant. I have had trouble with this in the past: it is a lot easier to keep learning, than start doing, start producing something. I just got over that by making my new blog.

I think if you are going to read make it a book that builds a skill relevant to your bigger goals. Or teaches you about something abstract and gives you ideas that you can implement later

Sounds a lot like what we were talking about with what Ben Casnocha’s said – a lot of business books are for the uninspired, but the inspired are the ones who gobble them up. We need to stop spending so much time on Why and start teaching How.

I like to think of a book as a conversation with the author. I keep my opinion but also keep an open mind. And its a lot better than TV.

But your message is true, go apply concepts instead of just knowing them and looking for more information that repeats the same stuff.
