…is always the smart thing to do.
…is the acknowledgment of the context. It’s accepting the limits of our individuality.
…is the end of pretty lies, it’s realism at its finest.
…does not mean not fighting. It means taking your fight where you can win it.
…is not for those full of pride or fear. Those who do it are humble and secure.
…means trusting in your own definition of success, and going towards it.
…stops where persistence can produce results.
…is a learning prerequisite. Growth loves the new and hates the routine.
…is the constant choice for the less known mediocrity.
Running away is, in the end, just a bad choice of words.

I use to run just to get away of everything, especially drama. You’d think that running away would help you retrace every wrong that you’ve made, Or will help you try to replace the “pain” with something more. But like you said “Running away is, in the end, just a bad choice of words.” It does not work out in the end. You just have to own up and deal with the situation.
Great post. You always have me contemplating..
Unfortunately, the absolute of “is always the smart thing to do.” ruins the rest of this post. There are times where “running away” is the wrong thing to do and ignoring that takes away from the content here. Sad to see blind agreement with Matt’s view of the world. That said, still good content to discuss. Thank you for posting!
Me encanta! Gracias!
Love, love, love this post!
Insightful and thought-provoking.
Thank you
Amen Carlos,
In my Kung fu San Soo class we don’t participate in tournaments or fight for trophies because we train in an art where we don’t believe in rules, because in a street fight there are no rules. We fight for our lives. So we are very confident in our abilities. We are so confident that we are humble and secure enough to know when not to fight, regardless of what others may think or call us, because we know our abilities, we know ourselves.
