The Purpose Behind Failure And Success

Failure and success serve the same purpose.

They happen so you can keep going.

Maybe after the same goal, maybe not, that’s irrelevant.

Worry about the journey, not winning or losing. In fact, most people never reach either.

Competition is what matters today. Because the game is hard,  the players are scarce.

To compete you have to keep up, you have to work hard, you have to make stuff happen.

By being part of the game, you’ve already beaten most people.

Failure and success are technical words for winners.

Hi Carlos,
Love this perspective!
It may be the back to school/ post-holiday season, but there are just so many people thinking about a new way of looking at failure and success.
Have been following a fascinating discussion that evolved at a post on Failure at http://bit.ly/Mv67Y. Worth a look.
Cheers

There are some things that appear to be exact opposites but in actuality are the dualistic forces necessary to advance in life. Good vs. evil, light vs. dark, The Brunette vs. The Blonde Girl in High School Musical…the examples are endless.

It is in facing the challenges and glories in each side of the “spectrum” that we advance. It is in understanding and applying the knowledge from each that we win.

Gotta love the dark evil blonde. Or is it the good light brunette?

I don’t understand some people’s facination with ‘failure’. It’s only failure if you’ve given up.

Success is never final. Failure is never fatal.

They both have their purposes and when we get either success or failure we need to figure out the message within.
