Wounds And Houses

Being productive and learning constantly has never been easier.

On the other hand, wasting your time and procrastinating is quite simple too.

The public visibility of what people do with their time has made it fairly accesible to know which of them are worth your time.

Transparency will make those who are “networking-worthy” very easy to spot. Problem is, procrastinators and time-wasters will be out in the open as well.

Suddenly  Facebook and Twitter don’t seem so helpful.

That’s the thing with tools, you can build a house or you can hurt yourself.

And I’m seeing a lot more wounds than houses already.

We talk about transparency a lot. And productivity a lot.

What I love here is the connection of the two. What are you doing with your time and is it worth it? Look at what’s happening. View the results. And realize that it’s not just you looking.

Viewing the results is the key point here. Most people not only don’t see them. They don’t even think that there should be any.
